Jeb lifted his hand and wiped some sweat off of his forehead, leaving dirty purplish finger streaks across it. It was almost imposable to prevent getting dirty any where in the caves as long as you lived there you would not stay clean for long. Jeb did not mind this though as long as everyone one was safe, had shelter, water and were in good heath Jeb was happy. It seemed like everyone was getting along a lot which was also a plus.

A lot had changed since Wanda first arrived at it was for the better. If it was not for her Jamie would be dead and Mel, Mel could have been gone also. He was grateful for Wanda and her friendship and by the looks of it now must people in the community where happy also, and if the where and were thinking of starting trouble they would have to Leave. Jeb did not mind giving them the old heave ho if the did not want to listen to his rules. One person Jeb was glad had changed for the better was Kyle and he was pretty sure Kyle was happy he did not die in the cave when it collapsed . He had some rough bout at first but now even Kyle was now a better man then Jeb had ever expected.


Hurling the pick axe into the ground , it was time for a new crop so the soil...well dirty need ot be broken up and turned. Working in the fields was one of Jeb favorite chores to help out within the cave besides the construction of new sleeping Quarters. there had been a lot of new people arriving in the community and now there was hardly any room for other to even bunk up. Jeb looked around the Planting hall and saw that his job was done for the morning, and realized it was almost time for lunch. He would have to wash up and help the other but today he would be eating in the panting hall so it all did not matter to him much, whatever he could do for the community the better. "You guys ready to quit and get some grub?" Jeb asked the others.
